When we drive around by our home, it is not unusual to see deer on the road. Racoons, squirrels and sometimes a fox. On our drive to the Cape of Good Hope, it was real obvious that we weren't at home anymore.
As cool as it was to be up close and personal with the baboons, ostriches and penguins, it did not take away from the beauty of this drive. My ear was hurting from Sonja screaming "Oh, stop!" I'm sure she was yelling that so I'd stop and let her take pictures. It couldn't possibly be her screaming that because of my driving on the left side of the road.
V & A Waterfront
On our way back we swung by the V & A Waterfront which is a huge shopping area in Cape Town. We spent a couple of hours there but the best moments were our framed shot of Table Mountain and the African street musicians.
Need to get some sleep tonight. Tomorrow we head north into the country to the Aquila Game Reserve for our safari.
